As we close out 2025, Arcoíris Cultural wishes to share a message of profound gratitude, reflection, and hope. It has been a year marked by significant challenges, but also by achievements that fill us with pride. Every step taken has been possible thanks to the trust, active participation, and commitment of our community, as well as the unwavering support of our partner organizations, sponsors, and private donors who believe in our mission.

Thanks to your support, this year we were able to serve hundreds of people, connecting them with essential resources such as the Oregon Health Plan, access to medical services, cultural events, informational talks regarding immigration, and educational workshops for families, youth, and students. Behind every conversation is a story, a face, and a family, and many of the people we served this year now have more information and new opportunities to build a more dignified and secure future.

This impact has been possible thanks to the dedication of our team of Community Health Workers, who have been present, listening, accompanying, and responding to the real needs of our families, even in the most difficult times.

This year we also managed to distribute more than 20,000 pounds of food, organize free events for more than 4,000 people, distribute school supplies at the beginning of the school year, and hand out toys during Christmas, all contributing to the overall well-being of our community.

We would like to express special thanks to our partner organizations, whose support and collaboration have been fundamental:

Acompañar, Altrusa International of Yaquina Bay, American Heart Association, American Leadership Forum of Oregon, Andares, Ballet Folklórico Oregon Coast, CAPACES Leadership Institute, Anahuac Farm, Central Coast Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, City of Newport, The Collins Foundation, Conexión Fénix, Consulate of Mexico, Elite Accounting Solutions, Inc., Food Share of Lincoln County, Grow Lincoln County, Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County, Kate Sinkins, Esq., KYAQ Radio, La Guadalupana Tienda, La Juquilita Mexican Store, Lincoln City Cultural Center, Lincoln County Commissioners, Lincoln County Cultural Coalition, Lincoln County Public Health (LCPH), Lincoln County Historical Society, Lincoln County School District (LCSD), Linn, Benton, Lincoln Health Equity Alliance, Meyer Memorial Trust, Mo’s Restaurant, Newport Public Library, Newport Recreation Center, Nye Beach Café, Oregon Coast Aquarium, Oregon Coast STEM Hub, Oregon Community Foundation, Oregon Coast Council for the Arts, Oregon Food Bank, Oregon for All, Oregon Health Authority, Oregon's Kitchen Table, Oregon Law Center, Super Oscar’s Mexican Food, OSU Extension of Lincoln County, Piquín y Chamoy, Presbyterian Church of Newport, Oregon Coast Community College-SBDC, Seeding Justice, The Hill Buffet & Grill, Thompson's Sanitary Services, Trinity United Methodist Church (Toledo), United Way of Linn, Benton & Lincoln Counties, and University of Oregon.

We are also proud to share that this year Arcoíris Cultural was established as an independent non-profit organization, a process full of learning and challenges that has been possible thanks to the support of our community. We will continue with a stronger foundation, aware of the challenges we still face, but strengthened by the unity and solidarity that unites us.

As we look towards 2026, we recognize that many challenges will continue to affect our families, especially those related to family separation and immigration policies. In the face of this, we reaffirm our commitment to informing and guiding our community about their rights, family emergency plans, and comprehensive care.

We remain convinced that an informed and united community is a strengthened community. Our mission to highlight and recognize the invaluable cultural, labor, and economic contributions of our community drives us to continue on this path with humility, determination, and hope.

This coming year, 2026, we wish for prosperity to flourish, for every family to feel secure, and for our culture to continue as living proof of identity and unity. May the colors, sounds, and flavors of our roots continue to resonate, inspiring new opportunities, celebrating our diversity, and strengthening the community we are building together. May this new year be a canvas of hope, where every shared effort paints a brighter future, full of love and unity.

We invite you to continue walking alongside us. Your participation, your voice, your story, and your support allow this work to continue to flourish.

United, we are stronger, and together we will continue to build a future full of love, progress, and opportunities.

With gratitude, commitment, and in community,

The Arcoíris Cultural Team
